Remember America isn’t a Democracy. It’s a Republic and the States in the Republic, not the people in the states elect the president. Why??

For one, the designers of America did not trust the people. Second, the Political Elite wanted a way certain to control who was “elected” to be president.  
Hillary won 19 states and the District of Columbia, Trump won the remaining 30. Hillary received more votes from the people but they were in the wrong places. She won California (55 Electoral Votes) but lost Texas (38), Florida (29) and PA (20). That put the score 55 to 87. Trump went on to win with 306 Electoral Votes to Hillary’s 232.

Hillary Clinton lost the White House by so perfectly typifying the system that Trump supporters rejected.

Obama tried to rescue his presidency by appealing to the voters saying: ‘Make No Mistake, My Policies Are On The Ballot This Fall’. So Trumps victory rejected Obama’s policies in addition to rejecting the Establishment so perfectly typified by Hillary. .
