It’s been savaged by both “The Left” and “The Right”. It’s impossible to get un-biased information. That makes morality impossible. The schools were invaded by the Left decades ago and the children are indoctrinated first, educated second.
Religion. It’s never been free. It’s probably the first institution to be corrupted in a culture and it seeks to corrupt and convince it’s followers it’s the single force for good as it tries to explain 9/11, the Crusades, the Inquisition and the invasion of the Moors. Religions, all and each one, call for self-sacrifice for a supposed reward that doesn’t occur until after death. Religions are communal. Communes are not individualistic by their very name. Religions have all that in common. America was founded on individuality, not self-immolation.
The 2016 election will result in a severely crippled President Trump who cannot unite America because of the deep us-them division. A Hillary victory is too horrible to contemplate. It will energize “The Right” both religious and political as well as cultural. President Hillary would ignite severe hostility against a President who is a general failure.
Fortunately, the election looks like a Trump victory but it will be contested and made ugly by the Left. Unfortunately, America has been contaminated and is controlled more by the Left. There are more benign places to live.
Most of the world has little understanding of actual freedom.
