Why is Mexico Officially Encouraging Mexicans to become U.S. Citizens? Is Mexico ashamed of being Mexican? The Washington Post reported today: “..Mexican diplomats are mobilizing for the first time to assist immigrants in gaining U.S. citizenship, hosting free workshops on naturalization.
“This is a (sic.), historic moment where the Mexican consulate will open its doors to carry out these types of events in favor of the Mexican community,” Adrian Sosa, a spokesman for the consulate in Chicago, said before an event on March 19.
How is encouraging and teaching Mexicans to give up their citizenship in Mexico a good thing for the one thing that all legal Mexicans share: “Their Mexican Citizenship” which puts patriotic Mexicans on the side of Mexico First, not their citizenship in some other country. It’s teaching Mexicans that Mexico isn’t good enough. Of course Mexicans are better off becoming American Citizens and it’s not only Mexican’s. Everyone is better off in America because America is still the most free nation and the most free culture ever in the history of the world. That’s not an exaggeration. It’s a provable fact and even the Mexican consulate recognizes that.
The question for Mexico is why hasn’t the Mexican Government made Mexico at least as free as America? Why is America so much better than Mexico that millions and millions of Mexicans want to live in America? Why is Mexico still not as good as America? Mexico id far older than America so it’s had more time to figure out how people should be governed. How come Mexico still doesn’t get it?
Of course Mexicans are better when they live in America. Donald Trump knows that and he’s so patriotic that he want’s to lead America and make America and American’s even better than we are today. That means Mexico will lose citizens who, even though they love Mexico, love America even more. Is it time to make Mexico a state?
