Call her “Dull Dana”, a cute enough political lightweight whose opinions are vacuous. Here’s how IMUS described her: ‘She Sucks and Her Book Sucks’
Imus felt Perino walked into his studio with an attitude, and would only share “rehearsed talking points” about her book.
Imus asked her how she ended up a White House press secretary, he found her answer guarded, and called her out for being “unwilling to tell” him the story; Imus was mildly frustrated . He felt Perino was “rehearsed.”
The following morning’s show, Imus had to get something about Perino to get off his chest:
“Don’t ask to be on this program and then come in here and be a jerk as Dana Perino was yesterday. God! Man, who needs that? I mean, there’s somebody who’s just, what, are you kidding me? God, that was irritating. I’m happy, if people ask me and they ask the show to be on to promote their book, I’m happy to do it, but then don’t come in here with an attitude. And then not want to have a conversation. Oh my God. You couldn’t have a conversation with her. She got her little talking points.
Oh, there’s more? Yep, here comes the personal attacks:
First of all, she was the press secretary, that was a mercy move. They had 37 press secretaries and they found her, I mean, I mean, what? Another no-talent loser. Honest to God. Are you kidding me? She sucks and her book sucks. Oh, my God, that irritated me… I’m happy to help. Really, nobody’s more supportive than me. But don’t come in here and cop an attitude.”

“I can tell you, my base is fed up with Fox,” conservative commentator Michelle Malkin told me. Malkin, who quit Fox as a contributor, actually goes after Murdoch for supporting immigration reform in her new book Sold Out (she calls him a “treacherous bedfellow”). Rush Limbaugh, whom Ailes first put on television in the early ’90s, has said he “no longer watches cable news.” A Limbaugh friend told me the dig was made explicitly about Fox.

As for Plaster-Face Megyn Kelly — who graces the cover of Vanity Fair this month — has become the face of the network. An anchor fumed that Kelly hosted Michael Moore on her program tonight and the lefty filmmaker defended her against Trump. “That would be like Rachel Maddow laughing along with Charles Koch as he trashed Hillary Clinton!” the anchor said. One producer speculated that Fox could go “National Review” on Trump and start attacking him.

In 2010, five years ago; From Ilana Mercer: “How do you know there is going to be an economic recovery,” Greta Van Susteren asked GOP dummy, Dana Perino. “There always is; these things go in cycles,” squeaked the Heidi Klum of the commentariat.
Dana, who was once a spokesperson to a man who was barely able to speak, always smiles with pride when her boss’ “modest” government expansion is hearkened to nostalgically on Fox News. You remember the broad sweep of the Bush limited-government program: Medicare Part D, “No Child Left Behind,” and the fiscal fiascos that are the wars in Middle East and South-central Asia. Likewise, Dana seems to think that the economy is much like the menstrual cycle. But even that event grinds to a halt when the hormones run out.

More from Mercer:
“Finally, Trump is annoying the right people – from the liberal media to regimist neoconservatives like Perino and Charles Krauthammer, to noise-making socialist Neil Young. In particular is the MSM furious about Trump’s matter-of-fact, informed assertion as to the quality of America’s largest immigrant population.
“Donald Trump: “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. … They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with [them]. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people. But I speak to border guards, and they tell us what they’re getting.”
“Brooke Baldwin, CNN: “… The notion of calling Mexicans rapists, people lose their jobs over words like those. And this is a man running for the president of the United States.”
“Barbie, Trump created his job. He owns it.
“And The Donald has certainly apprised himself of the facts. Perhaps he is reading Ann Coulter’s data-driven “Adios America!” in which she writes: “The U.S. government admits that at least 351,000 criminal immigrants were incarcerated [by] the United States as of 2011 – the vast majority of them Mexican.” (Report to Congressional Requesters, 7 and 10.) Perino is cornepone D – U – L – L. Little imagination, no kids so she bought a puppy, why is she being inflicted on FOX viewers? She’s intolerant asking “Why do they have to live here? referring to people who aren’t as obcessive about religion as she is. She never grew up.
