We lost David yesterday. He had one of the most spectacular lives, rising from mediocrity to greatness. Born in the rough part of London, South London, he came to know the world on an intimate basis. Called an astonishing child he proved them correct. Bowie was an astonishing and innovative man, one worthy of at least a statue in London and in many other places around the world. Bowie became a man of the world in every sense of that phrase.
Genuine fame eludes most people proving how unique was Bowie.
