He knows different and he’s applying the old double standard for Hillary compared to former CIA Director General David Petraeus who, in 2015, pled guilty to a misdemeanor admitting he mishandled classified materials by sharing notebooks with his former mistress and biographer, Paula Broadwell. The FBI is now focused on whether Hillary violated The Espionage Act section pertaining to “gross negligence” in the safekeeping of national defense information.
The Espionage Act is 18 USC 793. Subsection F shows the information does not have to be classified to count as a violation. Obama is a lawyer who knows what he said was not true. Treatment of past whistleblowers’ shows there are rules and laws for the average citizen, and a different set of rules and laws for the powerful.
