It’s the Eagles defensive backfield that failed against the Redskins. Coaches and players weren’t able to defend against the pass. So the Eagles are 1 and 3. Are they a better team? Absolutely not. Can they get better? Sure but hold your bets. They have games against: the Saints 0-3 until tonight when they will be 0-4 against Dallas; Giants 2-2; and Panthers 4-0 coming up. At this point they won’t even beat the Saints unless the pass defense improves.
