Perhaps it would have done some good to say them to her husband before he committed suicide from depression but depression doesn’t get solved with mere words. Some grief never passes but we learn to cope and in time the sadness turns into memories of the good times. It’s the bad times and the hard times that memory is kind enough to forget.
