America did not lose the World Cup because America did not play in it. The team lost, not America. The team did not represent America. The team only represented itself because that’s all any team can ever do. Hats off to the Belgium team who played really well. Besides… Football is America’s favorite sport followed by baseball then basketball. Soccer, while a great sport is in fourth place in America.
