All activity is not cancelled on May Day as is popularly claimed. Work is actually ramped up in contradiction to their idea calling for a general strike. They just want their people to work at something different than working for money. Protesting is working for no pay. Working and not receiving pay is work nevertheless but it is immorall work contrary to the official position of not working. It means working for the organizers, not for oneself. If you are joining a protest you should realize you are being controlled. When you work for pay which is the morally correct position you are working for yourself which is why Capitalism is the morally correct position. You should work for yourself. If you are working to feed your family you are working for what you want. If you are demonstrating against work for pay you are working for the officials directing you to work not for yourself but for them. That’s immoral. It’s theft by deception.
