Artemis was the Greek goddess of the hunt, wilderness, wild animals, the moon, and chastity, revered as one of the twelve Olympian deities. As the daughter of Zeus and Leto and twin sister to Apollo, she was a fierce protector of young women, a patron of childbirth, and a virgin goddess known for her independence and archery skills.
The Atremis II’s crew of four astronauts: NASA’s Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, as well as Jeremy Hansen of the Canadian Space Agency and their 10 day history making and record breaking flight around the moon successfully arrived back on earth in the Orion capsule nicknamed “Integrity” which hit the atmosphere at Mach 33 is a perfect trajactory and slowdown to 17 miles an hour for the splashdown in the Pacific ocean near San Diago, California. While bobbing in the water five heliumn filled ballons were inflated, a flotation collar was attached and a large raft called “The Front Porch” was attached and inflated so two helicopters could lift the astronauts first one, then that helo flew off a bit while a second helo lifted another astronaut. that helo flew off a bit and the first helo returned and lifted off the thirs astronaut which them flew back to the USS John P. Murtha, a large US Navy amphibious transport ship while the fourth astronaut was lifted into the second helo which them followed the first back to the USS John Murtha. The recovery of the four astronauts took about an hour and 45 minutes from splashdown.
