Democracy is one element in a Republic like America where individuals cannot be infringed upon by improper means because individuals are in possession of Rights which prevent mobs, criminals and government from oppressing them. Democracies are designed to prevent mob rule through established institutions and the rule of law. America is structured as a Republic with Checks and Balances to prevent tyranny. Trump derangement Syndrome runs many opponents, some of which get fatally out of control.
Sometimes, .. unfortunately, the test of a free society is not how efficiently it registers public opinion, but how effectively it protects unpopular individuals but the answer is never, like we now see in Minneapolis, rank mobs in the street creating fear and mayhem in the face of armed government agents without uniforms with the further unfortunate results like the death’s of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. While these deaths seem to be un-necessary they are the result of a series of blunders which are related to demonstrations which can appear to be by mobs.
Order is necessary in a culture and those who disrupt it or did-trust it should be aware that their actions can be mis-interpreted and government enforcers make mistakes so stay away and keep away from places like Minneapolis at the moment. Prudence can be the best helper of courage. We sure hope this ends well with no further destruction and certainly no further injuries or deaths. That will take some intelligent outside manipulation.
