John W. Robbins is dead now so nothing can hurt him but while he lived this intellectual pigmy dwarf hurt thousands of poor souls who wanted nothing more than the simple truth. A balding half-pint when he was alive, Robbins especially hated Ayn Rand for her highly reasoned and logical destruction of the entire basis of his religion. He wrote a book that condemned Rand instead of praising her for her wisdom and insight.

Ayn Rand was a very successful author whose books have sold over 37 million copies so far and their popularity continues long  after her death on March 6, 1982 at age 77. Rand was born on February 2, 1905 in Saint Petersburg Russia.

Unfortunately, Robbins, a renegade member of the Robbins of the Baskin-Robbins ice cream empire, believed a set of lies about philosophy because he started in the middle with Epistemology instead of the beginning with Metaphysics.

Metaphysics is a view about everything. It is the widest topic and can be based on one of two possible topics. Reality or Fantasy. Wrongly, Robbins attempts to justify his religion by starting with Epistemology.

Epistemology is a way of thinking. Before thinking there has to be something to think about. It’s quite wrong to think about thinking before thinking about what there is to think about. The voices in your head have to start somewhere and that is Existence. Things that exist are what Metaphysics is about. Ways to think is the subject of Epistemology which must come AFTER the things that exist. One cannot conjure up for example, a moon, by thinking about a moon. First there must be a moon. Without a moon there’s no moon to think about but Robbins want’s to think up a moon instead of looking at it. Existence is the realm of Metaphysics which provides the stuff to think about. Robbins wants to start in the middle instead of at the beginning because that’s where his theology directs him. Theology is the realm of fantasy which is the realm of mysticism which is where Robbins faith informs him to begin but that’s wrong.  Belief in a fantasy world is practically criminal because it steals existence away from the mind. That’s an intellectual assault and assault is a crime.
