It’s not by replacing the screen although Bennett Jaguar in Allentown led me to believe that was needed and scheduled a one week appointment to replace it. They are so busy or they thought it would take a week to do it that they scheduled the appointment about five weeks in the future. After about four weeks the screen started to work s I cancelled the appointment. About two weeks later it stopped working again. I searched the problem on the internet and found a solution if the screen didn’t respond to the media command which was not the problem this F-Pace was having. It tried it and noodled around and lo and behold the screen began working correctly again. the solution was to turn the motor on; put the car in PARK; press and hold the telephone speaker button until the screen shut off then came back on and Voila! Problem solved. Here’s hoping it doesn’t happen again but if it does I’ll try the button pushing solution and hope that works. Meanwhile, I’m entirely satisfied with the F-Pace. It’s a wonderful SUV; easy to get into and out of and marvelously appointed. The engine has an enormous amount of power although the gas mileage is only acceptable, not magnificent but the car is. Thanks Jaguar for doing such a great job producing the F-Pace.
