The funeral of Pope Francis on April 26, 2025 gave the outward appearance of peace. The underlying story is invisible yet very much in evidence as one pontiff is buried and another is waiting in the wings to continue the progress of one of the most destructive, dangerous philosophies, but Catholicism is a branch of Christianity and Christianity is a branch of Religion.
Is Religion destructive? ……….9/11 is one vivid example of the destruction and the continuing war between Islam and Judaism in the Middle East is another.
Religion is downstream of philosophy. Every religion has an over-arching and an underlying philosophy. Christianity is based on obedience. Judaism is based on The Tribe. Islam is based on Subjugation. None are based on Freedom. Jews are subject to the will of the tribe of Jewish Elders. Christianity is based on obedience to God and His Son, Christ while Islam is based on subjugation to the will of Muhammed, The Prophet. Religion to it’s credit was the attempt to answer three questions: Where are we? What should we do? How do we know it?
