The short answer is we really don’t know.
Perhaps God is testing us. Maybe he want’s us to know how human, how ineffective we are.
Maybe he want’s us to know he really is in charge because he got Trump to turn his head at just the right instant so his head was missed but because we can’t control everything his ear was hit. many people thank God only his ear was hit. Other’s are sad because his head was missed. One thing we are certain of; the shooter is dead but we don’t know why he shot Donald Trump. We do know it was the wrong thing to do. We know Trump has enemies. At this moment we also know he has a lot more friends than he did just before he was shot. There is evil in the world but there is much more good. Tom Crooks, the shooter was unbalanced. Because of his unbalance the world has changed a lot. We have free will so the shooter had to decide for himself what was good and what was evil. He made the wrong choice and now he’s dead. It’s all too bad. It’s very bad Donald Trump was shot. Perhaps that’s a wake-up call to be on the lookout for evil because we just don’t know who the evil ones are.
