There’s little doubt that civilization as far as where the first humans happened, was Africa. There are some theories that it could have happened in Indonesia and Sri Lanka but the theory with the most currency is it happened in Africa. From there it jumped to Greece, probably via Cyprus and then Rome where it continued apace into Germany, France, and so on. Egypt is in Africa but DNA shows ancestry from Freece/Rome.
