Sean Hannity: Mainstream Media Using Bush 41’s Death to Bash Trump Is ‘Sad, But Not Surprising’  Washington Times columnist Monica Crowley said: the mainstream media “will use any cudgel” to try to bash President Trump, even the death of a former commander-in-chief.

Fox News contributor Molly Hemingway added: the media coverage of Bush 41 when he was in office him was “vicious,” a stark contrast to the endearing remarks given to him after his passing.

“People (of the lousy Left) are rewriting history here in a way that is not OK,” she said.
Laura Ingraham said Monday: many media pundits have chosen to bash President Trump in subtle and not-so-subtle ways throughout their coverage of the death of President George H.W. Bush.

For example, MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace – who served in the George W. Bush administration – said Trump has “debased” the presidency “in a way that is unimaginable” to people who served in past administrations.

“I think what everyone’s getting at is that under Donald Trump, the office of the presidency has been debased in a way that is unimaginable for people who served, every past president. … I think what’s lost in this moment is our reverence and our dependence and the way we need and rely upon the elegance and the traditions of the presidency,” she said during coverage of the motorcade bringing Bush’s casket to the U.S. Capitol.
