America would buy fewer Chinese goods. That would cost China money in lost sales which is not altogether a bad thing for China because there are many other customers but know this: America is a customer of China and customers should be treated with consideration and respect. Perhaps with Joe Biden as president Xi Zinping believes America is weak but even though Biden may be dottering, his handlers are still Americans who do not cowtow to China or any other nation. Xi would lose a lot of revenue if America decided to propagandize against China. China is not really a good international citizen. It fails to respect America so it wouldn’t take much to begin a propagnada or public relations effort to downgrade China as a friend and as a bad supplier. Perhaps Xi is in Moscow to counsel Putin to back off the war drumming. We certainly hope so because it is better for China to have good relations with both Russia and America. China and America have travelled many roads together and the hope is we will continue to travel along with China.
