Dr. Oz demands Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman prove he doesn’t need a new heart as Senate race tightens
Fetterman’s been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. He also had a stroke, a pacemaker, a defibrillator and a mal-functioning brain. At his most recent event on Sept. 11, a Planned Parenthood “Women for Fetterman” rally, he struggled to finish his thoughts and fumbled his words, as he bashed his opponent, celebrity TV doctor Mehmet Oz, for making fun of his health issues. All that means John Fetterman should be resting in his home, not campaigning to fool the people of Pennsylvania into voting for him.
Two editorial boards, of The Washington Post and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, have called for Fetterman to release medical records after his refusal to debate Oz more than once. The Post-Gazette said that should include cognitive tests and making his doctors available to reporters. Fetterman called Dr. Oz a liar even though it’s been Fetterman who’s been lying to all of us for far too long about his poor health.
