A gun is always pointing somewhere which is why people need to understand the nature of a gun. Alec Baldwin was not only pointing a gun at Halyna Hutchins he pulled the trigger. Perhaps he should have been advised differently. Perhaps he should have known different before he pulled the trigger. Perhaps he didn’t realize he pulled the trigger.
Kyle Rittenhouse was being chased and had been assaulted when he fired his rifle. It turned out that he might have been dead if he didn’t have a gun which is why the foresight of the founders of America wrote about and approved our right to carry a gun. That right proved to save the life of Kyle Rittenhouse who should be a very, very rich man if his lawyers advise him to sue the powers who charged him with crimes for defending his body and his life. These are tragic events which show why guns must be understood by people who handle them. In the case of Kyle Rittenhouse, whether the jury finds him innocent or guilty, he is here instead of being injured or dead from the man with a skateboard who assaulted him or the man with a pistol who assaulted him… Yes, pointing a pistol at someone is an assault. Look it up.
