More and more cars and trucks are on our highways these days as drivers defy the Coronavirus House Arrests and return to their business. Data from Apple and Foursquare suggest lockdowns are gradually coming to an end on their own anyway, as more people venture out of their homes and resume various levels of economic activity. Businesses can’t open without fear of police action but most people have to shop so more traffic happens as they try to cope with the effects of the seven week house arrest. The effects have lowered flu deaths to lower levels than expected as the regular flu and the Coronavirus flu House Lock-Ups have made it impossible to shop except for groceries, gas and medical reasons. The lockdowns are coming undone mostly because millions of people simply started going about their lives again, at least as much as they can. They’re voting with their feet—and their cars.
President Trump has threatened that when he’s done everyone will be able to leave their houses whenever they want and do whatever they want, Trump told the press with an evil grin. “They’ll be able to peaceably assemble in whatever size groups they desire! Muhahaha!” “My power is absolute!” Trump screamed. “No one can stop me! Soon everyone will be able to go back to work and buy whatever they feel like from the store even if bureaucrats don’t like it!”
It is unknown if anything can be done about Trump, but many Left-Wing Liberals hope the Constitution has enough checks and balances to keep one man from giving out freedom by fiat.
