“They watch CNN then sit around and decide what to print as “News”. Exclusive interview: The Fourth Estate producers on going inside The New York Times during Trump’s first 100 days
…..from the story by
Quote: “The story behind the new documentary series for Showtime, The Fourth Estate, a TV show, “begins in January 2017 with the staff of The New York Times in crisis. Not only is the nation in turmoil under its new President, but the venerable newspaper itself – an American institution – must deal with the aftermath of having flubbed two of the biggest stories since Watergate”……which they did by lying about the News about president Trump….
“White House reporter Maggie Haberman is seen interviewing President Trump on the phone about the collapse of his first major piece of legislation, the repeal of Obamacare. Moments later, before she really even has time to gather her thoughts much less begin writing the story, she is tweeting highlights of the interview.” That’s a serious condemnation of the New York Times and Haberman’s shear, long-running bias against the president.
They report: ” When a term like fake news is being widely adopted, it’s important to shine a light on a group of people who have dedicated themselves to telling the truth.
“The film opens with the acknowledgement of two glaring failures by the Times leading up to the 2016 Presidential election: “Misreading the pulse of the country” as editor Dean Baquet says on camera, as well as the whole Russian scandal. Did you get the sense that the Times editorial were aware of those failures?”…… How childish are these so called news people when they openly admit they write the News as they see fit? This is worse than what’s expected in Third World countries and cultures because the New York times previously had the (undeserved) reputation of truthfulness. These are children with typewriters and printing presses. They should be laughed out of Manhattan.
