How is it possible so many people don’t like Liberty? That was proven by their march in Washington DC, truly “A March That Will Live In Infamy.” Maybe the marchers believe their assault on America was limited by their ideas that guns are somehow responsible for killing however demanding government regulate or forbid private guns is an assault on Liberty itself because it means individuals cannot decide on their own how best to protect themselves from dangers.
Remember, guns have no minds. No mind, no decision possible. Believing otherwise as the marchers claimed to believe is like believing cars are responsible for killing people as though cars somehow drive themselves. Even the so-called ‘self-driving cars” are driven by computers programmed by people so people are behind the Uber cars.
So no, the marchers don’t get all this Liberty stuff. They do not trust themselves so they cannot trust others.
America was founded by the people of Europe particularly England, France, and Germany. The primary foundation of our Western way of life, producing many of our greatest thinkers, artists, writers, politicians, and saints. The value of all European cultures, including the literary, artistic, philosophical, and theological contributions of England, France, Germany, Russia, central Europe, and Scandinavia, as well as a number of Europe’s most visited cities London, Paris, Berlin, Munich, Vienna, Prague, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Copenhagen, Rome, Florence, Venice, Madrid, and Athens are what made America great but the amalgam made America unique in the world.
All that was betrayed by the marchers yesterday. Those of us who realize what’s happening have a lot more work to do to regain America.
