Of course not. No one has the same fingerprints or eye’s so right there is more than enough proof that all man are not created equal and the idea that there are needs to be rejected. Why was it written into the Declaration of Independence? Well, … whatever the reason or reasons, it was a mistake. Plenty of reasons exist to prove it false. the second sentence makes more sense: They are endowed by their creator with certain inalianable rights. that’s immensley correct. Even though all men are clearly not equal as human beings they have a set of Rights. Each person while not equal has a right to their own life. a right to their liberty and to their right to pursue happiness. there are definitions involved with these wonderful words and the ideas they define. A humans we decoded long, long ago that each person has a right to their own life. that’s a positive. There is a negative right attached to it; viz. no one has the right to end anyone’s life. We made some exceptions along the way. No one can steal the property of another. No one can harm another. no one can steal from another. No one can rape another. But Liberty is about what’s left. We can do whatever we want as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else. Hurt has a lot of issues. Physical hurt. Emotional hurt. Property hurt. Descendant hurt. Hurting someone’s loved ones. If everyone acted that way we wouldn’t even need a document to identify it but there are problem people who hurt others. There’s another proof of inequality. The first sentence should be re-written this way: All men are not equal but everyone has a set of Rights; Life, Liberty and The Pursuit Of Happiness.
We do not have a Right to equality but whether or not you agree matters not because it is self-evident that we are unequal and no amount of saying or wishing that we’re equal will make that true. We don’t have to start over but we don’t have to keep accepting the false idea of equality and by the way. America is the best place to be. I’ve been to a load of places around the world as well as here in America and from personal experience, America is the best place. Everyone needs to understand that and make the other places just like America. That cannot happen but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to make it happen. Try to understand what a precious privlege it is to be alive – to breathe – to think – to enjoy – to love – …..and to be in America.
