Back in the mid 70’s was the first time I went to South Africa and I was transfixed with the beauty of the place. Apartheid was in force but it did not impinge on me during several visits. I spent over a week there on my first visit and I got to see some of this remarkable place. During subsequent visits I travelled to some of the other towns and cities and was even more impressed. The first time I tried mussels was in Capetown at a restaurant where our friend Ray Lewis, an immigrant from Wales knew the owner who told us it was illegal to harvest mussels during certain times of the year but he knew how to do it correctly. He served us mussels and I’ve enjoyed them very, very much ever since and that’s going onto 50 years or more. thank you Ray Lewis and South Africa.
Today, in 2025, South Africa has a bad rap because of the persecution of the official genocide against white people. In addition, South Africa has routinely sided against the United States in international affairs and is a key member of the BRICS economic alliance, which seeks to disrupt American hegemony. Note: South Africa’s decline beginning in 2008 under Jacob Zuma; the contrast between global perceptions and internal realities; how the ANC’s implementation of a Soviet-inspired playbook led to South Africa’s decline; Nelson Mandela and Mbeki held things together, but Jacob Zuma and Cyril Ramaphosa accelerated state capture and radical economic transformation; cadre deployment replaced competent workers with loyalists, undermining basic services and infrastructure; black economic empowerment policies shifted from inclusive to benefiting a corrupt elite; over 140 race-based laws now enforce what Hersov calls economic genocide; corporate leaders remain silent due to DEI capture and fear of reprisal; the rising violence against white South African farmers; how the UN’s genocide definition applies to South Africa, with 7 out of 10 criteria already met; Julius Malema’s public incitements like “kill the farmer”; the ANC’s economic policies, including land expropriation without compensation; murder, torture, and rape statistics in farm attacks; how farmers are three times more likely to be killed than police; the vulnerability caused by load-shedding; and how Trump, unlike most world leaders, is addressing this unfolding crisis; and much more.If you are white stay away unless you are in a group and can be guaranteed safety otherwise you could die.
President Trump just hosted Cyril Ramaphosa, a truly evil liar who is the head of South Africa o the White House. The meeting went as expected. Ramaphosa denied the song “Kill the Boer” was sanctioned by his regime even though Trump played video of it being sung by government officials. Confiscatory taxation, racial discrimination, and high urban crime also make life all but impossible for white South Africans in cities, unless they are very wealthy. South Africa is the closest thing we have to a simulation of what would happen if progressive ideas about race are taken to their logical conclusion. The former Rhodesia, Zimbabwe, is what happens if you let that simulation play out a little longer. The farm murders are so notorious that even mainstream documentaries such as Lauren Southern’s Farmlands (2018) went viral during a time with far more censorship. It is no exaggeration to say that we probably focus more attention on the plight of South African whites than on any other group of white people in the world. Every major argument or excuse used to further the ideology of egalitarianism or integration has been used in South Africa. When leftists argue about “racial reconciliation,” “the legacy of slavery,” or the need to redefine our history to be “inclusive,” we can simply look to South Africa to see where that rhetoric leads.
CNN host Ashley Allison praised South Africa as a model of the “racial reconciliation” the US has yet to undergo. Significantly, she said this when complaining about white Afrikaners being welcomed to the United States. Sadly, … very sadly Zimbabwe and South Africa are the one-two punch that proves white advocacy needs to happen because of the current anti-white stance of the American Left. Institutional safeguards, international support, well-developed infrastructure, and guarantees of “human rights” do not predict the success or failure of societies. Racial demographics do. Proof by example is probably the best way of making this large-scale argument to masses of people, just as showing double standards remains the best way of waking up whites to anti-white hatred.
In this worldwide struggle, each of us has a cause that is most important. For those in the American South, it may be defending monuments and the honor of the Lost Cause. For all Americans, it may be fighting for mass deportations. For Europeans, it could be remigration. However, for all of us, the frontline is South Africa. It is where we will all end up if we do not win. For that reason, the cause of the Afrikaners is and remains the cause of all whites.
