If any American wants to live among people who are different than themselves they can. There are some exceptions but mostly the exceptions are about money, not race. Can’t buy a house in a very exclusive white-only neighborhood? Most likely you can if you have the money and most likely you cannot if you need a mortgage to buy a property.
