Why do I prefer fountain pens? They write smoother and there is a fantastic number of different inks available. I enjoy all kinds of writing instruments but my all-around favorite is a fountain pen and the best one so far is made by Ian Schon. He has a lot of different pens available and in on his way to becoming rich as he has moved into a larger place and has more machines to make even more pens.
One titanium nibbed fountain pen he makes has what he calls a “Monoc” nib. He set up his first manufacturing operation in what appeared to be an old building in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. His titanium model is called: “The Monoc Nib”.
