Over at American Thinker they published a provocative piece that denies Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine is illegitimate. This foolishness will get a load of dead people. The author of this foolishness denies it excuses or justifies Russia’s Invasion but it does justify and excuse it. His recklessnss with facts and truth is irresponsible. His claim that NATO caused Putin to conquer The Crimea because Ukraine was and continues to be a threat to Russia is like claiming the mice will take over the house so give the house to the mice and avoid a takeover. Russia is the threat, not the excuse of NATO. Russia is occupying Ukraine. Peace must start with the restoration of Ukraine because the border of Ukraine must continue to be the border respected by Russia, not Kiev.

The folly of the author at American Thinker is based on, for example, the Lithuanian invasion of Moscow in 1363. What about the invasion and occupation of Kosovo and the removal of Albania from Serbia? In any event, NATO must stand up to Russia and support Ukraine against Russia because the borders of Ukraine were breached by Russia and Russia continues to occupy the Crimea. Peace cannot come to a world where some leaders use their military in offensive invasions as Russia has done in The Crimea and continues to do  in many other areas of Ukraine. Russia is in the worng. Putin is in the wrong. NATO is correct to help Ukraine until Russia removes it’s military and it’s threats from Ukraine.
