NATO is arming the Eastern Countries of Europe with supposedly defensive weapons without taking into account that defense cannot win a war. Only offense can do that, so Putin needs to be confronted by the civilized world with consequences sufficient to stop his aggression. He invaded, occupied and annexed to Russia, the Crimea, a portion of Southern Ukraine. He needs to reverse his occupation. He will not do that until he is faced with consequences for his actions but as usual the United Nations has engaged in yakety yak without action. Consequences such as actions
