Why is selling sex illegal? People are free to sell their activity so long as it doesn’t involve sex. Same for buying sex. Why is it illegal? One reason is sex used to be a cause of spreading many, many diseases because it was difficult to keep sexual activity healthy and disease free but that’s changed. Most, probably all bacterial infections can be treated and eventually cured. Only some sexually transmitted viruses cannot be cured. Herpes and HIV cannot be cured but they can be treated. They are dangerous and often fatal. All sexually transmitted diseases affect the quality of life. The problem with sexually transmitted disease is the fantastic enjoyment of having sex. It’s a lure that some people just cannot resist so the diseases continue. If you have illegal sex you are breaking the law. You may be putting yourself in mortal danger. At the very least you are in for medical treatment that may be agonizing and in some cases not effective. You could die from some of the diseases. If you want to have sex make certain you know what you are doing. Good luck and stay away from those close to me. It you don’t you will have something else to worry about.
