Dan Cathy founded Chick-Filet and he has been pro-traditional marriage which means he is opposed to gay marriage. Remember, gay marriage is two men or two women getting married. Dan Cathy want’s marriage to be limited to one man and one women. What about men who believe they are women or women who believe they are men? Gay marriage simply means that two people who think they are a man and a woman want to marry. Nothing wrong with that.
But Cathy has warned celebrating gay marriage means we are essentially shaking our fist at God, claiming we know more than Him about what constitutes a marriage. Yeah… Well you cannot shake your fist at something you cannot actually see. You may be facing the wrong way and not know it.
In response to his Christian statements, gay activists have done everything from vandalize Chick-fil-A locations to organize boycotts. And as Christian Life Daily reported, their latest boycott was the most unsuccessful boycott in history. Well.. that’s their version of events anyway. The gay’s may have been very successful getting people to get their chicken somewhere else but Chick-Filet is still in business. The gay boycott may be successful because a lot of people get their chicken elsewhere but a lot of people also get their chicken from Chick-Filet.
The question for Cathy is that since Christians believe God created everything, who does he think created gay people? Of course God created gay’s but marriage is created my man.. By men… So men can re-create marriage or modify marriage howsoever they want. It’s all rather non-sensencicle anyhow since people will live with whomsoever they want to live with regardless if Christians or whoever want to agree with them.
