Oh No! After two children together Tom Brady and Giselle Bündchen are headed for a divorce. Two Super-Stars couldn’t keep it together. Both have plenty of money although Giselle has more than Tom. A divorce between them is a shame. Men and women belong with women and men. It takes two people to be complete. One without the other isn’t a complete couple, obviously, … but it’s more than just one and one. Somehow a couple becomes more than two individuals. Each hired a divorce attorney. They should have hired two couples’ coaches to try to overcome whatever is driving them apart. Nothing between two people has to be inevitable. Any step taken can be re-traced but whatever it is, at the moment, it looks like it’s splits-ville for Brady/ Bündchen. Bündchen speaks 6 languages: Portuguese, English, Italian, Spanish, German, her childhood language, and some French. She was raised in Brazil where they speak Portuguese. Brady is all American and only American. American culture is very different than Brazilian culture. maybe the differences in the cultures gave rise to some of their problems. Brazilian culture is very, very different than American culture. Americans are very, very individualistic. Brazilians are much more collectivist. Americans are almost anti-collectivist. Brazil is a feminist culture. America is more macho, more masculine. Religion is important in Brazil, as 80% of the country’s population is affiliated with a religion. Religion in America generally takes a back seat compared to basic American drive to money and financial success.
The symbol of Brazil’s religious affiliation is the colossal statue of Christ the Redeemer that stands on the summit of Mount Corcovado in one of the country’s most famous cities, Rio de Janeiro. Roman Catholicism is the major religion of Brazil while Protestantism reigns supreme in America. Then there is the matter of personal fame. Tom Brady is at the top of American football. He is literally the best quarterback ever to play the game. Bündchen is a top model but has never been called the best model like Brady is absolutely the best quarterback ever. Bündchen is not even mentioned in the 16 most famous models of all time. HERE. She’s worth $400 million. Brady is worth $250 million.
