I miss him terribly. I’ve lost many family members but the death of my majestic grandson Hunter has been the hardest. It’s hard for his mother, our daughter. She was so close to him… from his birth until his sad, tragic death in a far off place, a place where he had a lot of happiness but a place where he met his untimely death under somewhat unknown circumstances; a death that was a tragedy for his family who are here with their questions and wonder at what happened. Nevertheless, there was so much love and happiness during his life that this sonic eulogy is noted in his honor and memory. HERE, (Hans Zimmer – Chevaliers de Sangreal The DaVinci Code- Cover by Panfili&Friends, also HERE and HERE. (Chevaliers de Sangreal – Violin Cover by Rusanda Panfili).
Hunter was a fantastic young man who grew from an amazing wonderful infant into an achieving boy. He played ice hockey at a very high level. He enjoyed reading books. Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” impressed Hunter so much that he had a sleeve tattoo of it on his leg.
Enjoy the music. I do and I know my grandson would have. It’s a musical tribute to the Knights who searched for the Holy Grail, allegedly the cup Jesus used at The Last Supper. While it’s sonically elegiac, it’s powerfully melodic. With thanks to Hans Zimmer who composed it. It uses the violin, played by Rusanda Panifili, an instrument I fell in love with probably at age three. HERE by The Danish National Symphony. HERE by Makris Symphony Goodbye, HERE from Dresden. Another Sonic Eulogy to my grandson Hunter is Schlinders List By John Williams HERE and HERE. Then there’s “1492; Conquest of Paradise” by Hans Zimmer performed single handedly by Vangelis HERE. Here’s Yanni playing One Man’s Dream. HERE. Another touching melody is from Cinema Paradiso HERE.
