He said the conductor told him at 272 days a year on Amtrac for 36 years at 269 miles each day was 1.2 million miles.. But 272 times 36 times 269 is 2.6 million miles. Why would Joe lie about his miles? We don’t know. He doesn’t think the way most people do.
