Turns out that Yes, they can be identified but we do not prosecute people because they are members of an identifiable group. We only prosecute people after they commit a crime. In addition guns are most often used for defense but the press and The Left hate guns so they blame guns, not people for crimes where a criminal uses a gun. In 2019, more than 19,100 people were victims of homicide and over 47,500 people died by suicide. In 2019 most people DID NOT DIE BY A FIREARM… Suicide victims had earlier onset of suicidal behavior and had more often used hanging as a method of attempted suicide than those who did not later commit suicide. Should ropes be banned because some people abuse them? Of course not but the Left hides the facts about suicide in their maniacal attempt to ban guns.
