Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) said the more people learn about Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s light sentencing policies and critical race theory support, the less they like the idea of her being appointed to the Supreme Court.

She’s not the most qualified. She’s not even among the most qualified but she’s being appointed because president Biden promised to appoint a black female to the Supreme court. So in a word, yes, she’s smart enough but she’s not among the smartest. So she’s insufficiently intelligent to grasp how un-intelligent she really is. Can she be a judge? Can she be a good judge?? Can she be a great judge??? Yes, no and no. Why not? Because greatness for a judge is a rare phenomenon. Kenji is certainly intelligent. So what? That’s no achievement. Being born qualifies most people. Everyone on the left side of the Bell Curve isn’t stupid but no one on the right side is. Kenji is probably not on the right side. If it were up to the conservatives she would not be confirmed. If it were up to the nation,… well, it’s not up to the nation and that’s unfortunate because she’s not approved by the nation even though she seems to be approved by about 4 out of every 10 people. She’s seemingly compassionate because of her soft on criminal sentencing. Compassionate isn’t what judges are supposed to be. Fair? No. Judges aren’t supposed to be fair because the law isn’t supposed to be fair. the law is supposed to be correct. Not compassionate, not fair.. Correct. Right. A fair judge can be corrupt while being fair.
