December 17, 1903.. 118 years ago. A date that beneficially changed human history more than any other single event. Because of the persistence and ingenuity of the Wright Brothers, Wilber and Orville, people have much better lives. We three, Janet, Chris and me, celebrated with food, and beer in Doylestown, PA. No doubt gunpowder changed human history more than any other event but not beneficially like flight did. Yes, aircaft are use in war but they are used far more often for travel and for commerce, to deliver goods to places far, far away from where the products are made.
