The Race-Based-Mob convicted Derek Chauvin and the mob is trying to convict Kyle Rittenhouse even though there is no racial angle to the Rittenhouse killings. The money is on Rittenhouse being convicted and sentenced to jail even though he acted in self-defense against the three people he shot. The mood of the mob is he should not have been carrying a rifle even though he broke no laws by doing that. America is in a terrible place when mobs can dictate and get what they want because the authorities cannot or will not control mobs. What should the jurors do? If they tell the judge they cannot reach a verdict Rittenhouse will be in physical danger. If they find him guilty the idea of individual rights will be compromised. If they acquit him he will be in constant danger and need of 24/7 protection from the crazy people. Their best option is to protect themselves. How they best do that is anyone’s guess at the moment but the mob is howling for their blood. They need to keep themselves safe.
