Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee of Washington State has signed a bill into law that bans Native American mascots, imagery and symbols from being used in schools. Some schools will have the option to keep their name or mascot, but under the condition they receive the blessing of nearby tribe. Native born Americans which means any individual born in America and subject to it’s laws are part of a great tribe, a social coalition of like individuals. Since every location in America is in America any tribal member is free to grant a blessing to any mascot in Washington State.

Here’s a blessing certification in Polish that upon it’s completion meets all of the requirements of a blessing from a nearby tribe. Blessings are available for an almost unlimited number of things including but not limited to mascot’s, places, all things bright and beautiful and all things great and small and so on.
