(The Texans had stayed in the locker room for both songs.)”…. Which was it? Players from both teams or the Texans stayed in the locker room?

‘Houston Texans executive vice-president of football operations Jack Easterly told NBC Sports that the moment was “not about Black or white. It’s about change.”

“Seven phrases developed by players on both teams – including star quarterbacks Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes – were displayed on the scoreboard at Arrowhead Stadium:…. None had anything to do with football where black players are paid outrageously high salaries).

• We support equality

• We must end racism

• We believe in justice for all

• We must end police brutality

• We choose unconditional love

• We believe Black lives matter

• It takes all of us

“These messages do not denigrate the military. They do not attack white people (in fact they were endorsed by white players on both teams). They do not tell people who to vote for. They do not call for the flag to be burned. They just call for simple goals, reasonable to any right-thinking person, no matter what their race or political persuasion. And, yet, boos were heard from the crowd so loud they could be heard on television as football fans around the world watched in amazement.

“Why were they booing?”….

(Here’s why… They were tricked into paying to see football but they were used as pawns for political messages they didn’t pay to see or hear. They were tricked!)

“Are racism and police brutality so inherently American that when you protest against them, people think you are actually protesting against America?” Of course not. racisma and police brutality are not at all common in America, the most diverse nation in history, unlike the people on The Guardian who don’t get that.)

“Some people suggested that (sic.) spectators booed because they were unhappy that the Chiefs have taken action to modify or ban traditions such as the “tomahawk chop” and supporters coming to the stadium dressed in Native American headgear and facepaint – many fans used the chop anyway. It’s probably no coincidence that this came after the Washington Football Team was forced to acquiesce to the demands of sponsors to change the name of the team from one that denigrated Native Americans. Even if the fans were unhappy about that – and they shouldn’t be – (yes, they should be unhappy about being falsly accused of being racist.)

“Let’s hope his assessment is accurate and not just wishful thinking. Because the message the fans who booed sent last night was crystal clear: for all the attention paid to the racism and police brutality endemic to America, there are plenty of people who are more than happy for things to stay exactly as they are.”…

Right. America has plenty of people who pay plenty of money for police to police the nation to make sure people don’t get tricked into paying for something they didn’t pay for….

SLAVERY TODAY…India is home to the largest number of slaves globally, with 8 million, followed by China (3.86 million), Pakistan (3.19 million), North Korea (2.64 million), Nigeria (1.39 million), Iran (1.29 million), Indonesia (1.22 million), Democratic Republic of the Congo (1 million), Russia (794,000) and the Philippines (784,000). America has no slaves. Not one. Hasn’t had slaves for the last ten generations. None..

There are over 30 different active areas and programs that provide targeted assistance or some form of grants to balck people. The overall goal is to boost the economy and quality of life for the millions of disadvantaged people across the nation, including African-Americans. The resources are offered as part of United Way donations, the federal government programs known as “Expanding Opportunities for African-American Families”, and also the White House Office of Public Engagement.

The Guardian and the protesting players need to figure that out and act accordingly. And stop thinking America, after Affirmative Action,. Head Start and thousands of other programs aimed specifically at black Americans and devised specifically to help black Americans, to start thinking correctly about race, racism and the differences between different raced people.
