When he didn’t do it they refused to leave the convert hall so “Elvis has left the building” was a phrase that was often used by public address announcers at the conclusion of Elvis Presley concerts in order to disperse audiences who lingered in hopes of an encore. It has since become a catchphrase and punchline. In the case of Joe Biden, someone needs to tell Joe that the concert is over. It’s time for Joe and Jill to leave the arena of politics, go to one of their homes and retire there to enjoy the rest of their lives. For Joe, its over.
