In a wasted Guest Opinion in the April 26, 2020 Bucks County Courier Times, Dr. Carome called our president a “snake oil salesman” perhaps because Carone himself is familiar with snake oil. He criticized president Trumps comments about hydroxychloroquine being used to cure Wuhan flu thereby showing Carone is unfamiliar with the latest data from the Marseilles IHU group of Dr. Didier Raoult that showed 1061 patients treated for at least 3 days with their hydroxychloroquine/azithromycin combination that “98% of patients cured so far” and says also “No cardiac toxicity was observed”. Carone said “Trump should step away from his carnival booth” but Carone is not able to comment about the presidency except to belittle the president. Carone uses the title “Doctor” but a doctor is not educated about politics or business, tow fields that president Trump has mastered by being a billionaire and by being elected president.
