Lee said “The National Rifle Association should be disbanded and, of Heston, someone should “Shoot him with a .44 Bull Dog” and the idea of race has been exploited by Lee. It’s debateable whether Lee hates being a black man of if he hates white people but the end result is that Lee has been very, very successful because he has been able to use the issue of race. Nevertheless it’s detestable for anyone to call black people house slaves. Lee … well, he can’t help himself. His personality is what he wants and likes and everyone else doesn’t count for much in his small little universe.
