A trip completely around the world is 24,901 miles which takes 44.4 hours of flying with two stops for fuel. That’s almost two days worth of flying and more than two days when the time to refuel is included.
The Space Shuttle orbiter, with a velocity of 27,880 km per hour (17,322 miles per hour) takes approximately 90 minutes to orbit, or travel just outside the circumference of the Earth. At an altitude of 322 km (200 miles), an orbiter covers approximately 41,300 km (26,000 miles) in one orbit… in 90 minutes. That’s 17,333 miles and hour so the Saudi’s even with their fast and luxurious jets are just poking along compared to the astronauts. .
