The FBI tricked and lied to the FISA judges to get warrants to spy on citizens who were supposed to be protected by the court. The protection not only failed, the FBI was turned loose like a zika virus onto innocent citizens.
Just as the FBI uses people to operate so does the FISA court and there’s the problem. People are the problem. Rules are supposed to be the solution but when the rules are broken the system fails and innocent people are penalized.

Hawley argued the findings show the FBI interfered in the 2016 presidential election, adding Horowitz’s report is “really damning” for the FBI. ….
He continued, “The facts are this: the Democrat committee paid for a fake dossier, fed it to the FBI and the FBI used it to interfere in an ongoing presidential campaign. It’s unbelievable. It can never happen again, we have to make sure of that.”
