Privilege is a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or available only to a particular person or group. Being born white however is what happens when white people have children. Nothing is given to them. They have nothing from the culture within which they exist, same as all other people.
The privilege of life is living.
Having white skin is an attribute, not a privilege. If Barack Obama had white skin he would not have been elected president. His advantage was because his skin wasn’t white. How then can having white skin be an advantage that is granted? It isn’t granted at all, it’s the way it is.
