He’s unpopular. He’s not easily likable. In fact, he’s off-putting because of his appearance. That’s not his fault but he was appointed so someone got it wrong. 
Where do we go from here?
The Catholic church of my youth is gone and it’s not returning. In America Catholocism is being supported by legal and illegal immigrants from Mexico to Tiera del Fuego. It’s an atrificial support because once in America the catholics stray from catholicism. Why?
Because it’s secularism and it’s success draw people away from the church. The connections of religion and wealth can be very fragile. Religion needs rote and repeatition to be sustained. Capitalism provides the advantages that move people away from religion. Successful people no longer pray for success. They tend not to attend mass. Their Sunday mornings are very sunny outside the church so they stop attending. Jorge Mario Bergoglio doesn’t grasp the essence of capitalism so he’s powerless to change what he fails to grasp. Oh well… .
