That’s how Capitalism works. But the Montco DA is offering to accept guns from people who don’t want them but not pay for them. Why does the DA want your guns?
Remember that this is America where: “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The police departments and the DA of Abington, Jenkintown, Lansdale, Lower Merion, Lower Salford, Pottstown, Upper Merion and Whitpain police departments will infringe and participate in accepting your guns. Why would you want to give up a gun? Take it to a gun shop and sell it instead of giving it to the police or the DA. That’s a Capitalism and Second Amendment Two-Fer.
The police won’t guarantee to protect you in your home. You better be prepared to protect yourself and that means getting a gun or two.
