The black Mayor of Baltimore, Bernard C. “Jack” Young slammed as ‘unacceptable’, comments from Trump on Baltimore. Young blasted President Trump‘s comments about ‘his city’ and Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) on Saturday, calling the president a “disappointment to the people of Baltimore.”
“It’s completely unacceptable for the political leader of our country to denigrate a vibrant American City like Baltimore, and to viciously attack U.S. Representative Elijah Cummings a patriot and a hero,” Young said in a statement posted to Twitter.
“Mr. Trump, you are a disappointment to the people of Baltimore, our country, and to the world,” he added.
Well, well, well. Baltimore is now Jack Young’s city, not Baltimore, the home of so many people but the mayor didn’t accept his share of the disappointment with Baltimore’s crime problems, it’s high incarceration rates of the black males therein, or his idea that Baltimore doesn’t need to respect the president. Obama didn’t do anything much to help Baltimore get out of it’s poverty, lawlessness and drug problems; it’s filthy streets, it’s disrespect for the police and the failures of it’s education system. Where was “Jack” when Obama was president? Where is Young’s and Cumming’s respect for the president?
